Must Haves
✔ Active LVN License
✔ Sub-Acute Nursing Experience preferred
Core Sub-Acute Clinical Skills
- Ventilator observation & response protocols
- Tube feed management (G-Tube/PEG)
- High-acuity post-surgical care
- Wound care support & treatment prep
- IV monitoring & PICC awareness
- Advanced condition change reporting
- Familiarity with respiratory & complex medical cases
- Collaboration with RT, PT/OT, MDs, and RNs
- Supervision of CNAs to ensure Sub-Acute care standards
What You’ll Do
- Administer medications & treatments
- Support assessments, care plans & clinical goals
- Complete accurate MAR/TAR documentation
- Communicate condition changes to RN/MD
- Supervise & mentor CNAs
- Maintain a safe, calm, professional environment
- Build trust with residents & families
