Soto Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated and results-driven Licensed Insurance Producer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about helping clients protect what matters most.
As a Licensed Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting, client consultations, and insurance sales. You will work with Property & Casualty and Life Insurance products, providing customized solutions that meet each client's unique needs while maintaining compliance with carrier and agency guidelines.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to consistently meet sales and activity goals.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up.
- Conduct insurance reviews and needs-based consultations with prospective clients.
- Present and quote Property & Casualty and Life Insurance products.
- Recommend appropriate coverage solutions based on client needs and risk assessments.
- Follow up on quotes and leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client records and activity tracking within the agency CRM.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, carrier requirements, and agency policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service and communication.
- Participate in agency training, coaching, and performance development programs.
Performance Expectations
To remain in good standing, producers are expected to maintain the following minimum activity standards:
- Minimum 150 outbound calls per business day
- Minimum 10 completed insurance quotes per business day
- Average of 1 issued and paid new sale per business day
- Minimum 2 hours of verified talk time per business day
Performance is reviewed weekly for activity levels and monthly for production results.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Life Insurance License preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Previous insurance sales, inside sales, call center, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM and carrier quoting systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
