CNC Machinist
Shift: M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor CNC lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
· Verify and Modify CNC programs as needed.
· Set up machines, including adjusting and changing tooling.
· Inspect parts during production to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
· Perform basic preventive maintenance (e.g., checking and refilling fluids, monitoring filter status).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience independently setting up and operating CNC lathe machines.
· Minimum 2 years of experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
· Strong math and blueprint reading skills.
· Knowledge of G & M codes, preferably with Mitsubishi controls.
· Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2–3 hours at a time).
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
· Perform repetitive tasks, including loading and unloading parts.
· Comfortable working with oil and water-based coolants.
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
