Carr Winery, a small handcrafted Winery in Santa Barbara County, is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, wine savvy server to work part-time at the Tasting Room in Downtown Santa Barbara, California. The Tasting Room is open daily and we are looking to fill weekend shifts with the potential of some weekday fill-ins as needed. Shifts range from 1pm-9pm and 3pm-9pm.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Hospitality driven wine tasting experience that educates guests on varietals and the history of Carr Vineyards & Winery
- Promote wine club sign ups and retail sales through personalized conversations
- Accurately process purchases by using the POS systems and handle cash, credit, and club-related purchases
- Maintain tasting room presentation standards by cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising
- Support inventory management by restocking wines, glassware, and retail items as needed

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a passion for wine, wine knowledge and willingness to learn more. Weekend availability is required. We offer competitive pay (hourly + tips + bonuses).
