Job Summary
Hickory Park Furniture Galleries is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to oversee the daily management, content, and performance of our company websites. This position is responsible for ensuring our online presence accurately represents our stores, products, promotions, and brand while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills, attention to detail, marketing knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset to drive website traffic, engagement, and sales opportunities. This role is a blend of Website Management, Digital Merchandising, and Content Management.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Content Management
- Add, update, and remove product listings as needed.
- Maintain accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing and inventory information where applicable.
- Coordinate with buyers and vendors to obtain product information and assets.
- Ensure featured products, collections, and categories are properly organized and displayed.
Promotions & Marketing Support
- Update website banners, promotions, and special events.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support advertising campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
- Ensure website messaging aligns with current company promotions and in-store events.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze website performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare regular reports on traffic, customer engagement, lead generation, and conversion metrics.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to key management personnel to support strategic business decisions.
- Develop dashboard reporting to communicate website performance and progress toward company goals.
Vendor & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with buyers, store leadership, marketing partners, and website vendors.
- Coordinate product launches, category updates, and website enhancements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for website-related projects and initiatives.
Website Management
- Manage and maintain the Hickory Park Furniture Galleries and Factory Outlet websites.
- Ensure all website content is accurate, current, and aligned with company branding.
- Monitor website functionality and coordinate with vendors or developers to resolve issues.
- Regularly review site performance, navigation, and user experience.
Customer Experience
- Ensure customers can easily navigate the website and find products and information.
- Monitor online inquiries, lead submissions, and customer feedback related to the website.
- Identify and implement improvements that enhance the customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with website content management systems (CMS).
- Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics (GA4), and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze website performance data and customer behavior metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and present recommendations clearly to senior leadership and management teams.
- Experience preparing and delivering reports on website performance, traffic trends, lead generation, conversion metrics, and return on investment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Success in This Role
A successful Digital Marketing Strategist will ensure that Hickory Park Furniture Galleries’ websites remain an accurate, engaging, and effective extension of the in-store and online experience, helping customers discover products, connect with our team, and choose Hickory Park as their destination for home furnishings.
This position will report directly to the CEO.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
