Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-2 years experience. However we are willing to train the right person. Industrial sewing (ie: trim work) experience also a plus, but not required. We are looking for a punctual individual that is willing to work hard and be a team player. Attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are imperative qualities regardless of experience. Compensation will be discussed in the interview process. Pay rate will depend on experience and/or certifications and we certainly offer the opportunity for future advancement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Removal of seats and upholstery of various makes and models of vehicles
- Properly re-install leather kit interiors
- Recover the door panels and all consoles if applicable in the vehicle
- Steam/heat the leather so as to remove wrinkles during install
- Reattach and hook up all safety devices within the vehicle to insure safety of customer upon delivery
- Assist in keeping shop clean and orderly, checking in leather inventory when needed, and recording information for said vehicles
- Ability to work some Saturdays
