Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors
- Handle food safely during storage, handling, and serving to prevent contamination
- Clear dining areas efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
- Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with service needs
- Support residents by providing friendly assistance and ensuring a positive mealtime
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or Assisted Living environments with a strong understanding of food handling practices
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Experience in banquet service, senior living facility, or hotel culinary operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and residents
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 per hour
