We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce components.
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) following AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Measure and mark materials using calipers, tape measures, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and welds.
- Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal materials such as sheet metal and structural steel.
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding according to specifications while maintaining safety protocol adherence.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the fabrication shop while adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving metal materials, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints confidently.
- Skilled in measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and shop math for precise fabrication work.
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly procedures.
- Experience with plasma cutting, machining, use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication shop equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and fabrication environments.
