Ford's Fish Shack is seeking 1 to 2 full time candidates to fulfill this position. Our ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, reliable, and eager to grow with the company. Host Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they enter the establishment.

Present menus, make recommendations, provide the daily specials, and take orders if needed.

Answer the phone in a timely manner, using the correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

Take to-go orders and enter into the POS system for preparation.

Receive and record dining reservations.

Ensure the proper setup of dining and service areas.

Assist with bussing, cleaning, and re-setting tables to prepare for upcoming reservations.
- Ensure special requests are passed to managers and/or service staff.

Thank guests upon departure with genuine pleasure.

Maintain clean, polished, and organized dining tables and work area.
- Sweep and mop work area.

Wipe clean all menus and check books daily.

Must be at least 17 years of age.
