Role Overview
The Social Media Content Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of social media across all in-house and client accounts. The person in this role will create engaging content by designing static posts, graphics, stories, and carousels, as well as managing publishing schedules while working under the direction of the Senior Social Media & Performance Manager. Success in this role requires creativity, organization, and a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices.
Role Responsibilities
- Design graphics, carousels, stories, and promotional assets for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X).If you do not have design experience, do not apply for this role.
- Write compelling captions tailored to each platform and brand voice, maintaining consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.
- Develop creative concepts that align with marketing campaigns and client objectives.
- Stay current on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content opportunities.
- Schedule and publish content across all client social media channels through 3rd-party posting tools.
- Manage comment moderation and direct messages in a timely, professional manner on all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X) using 3rd party tools.
- Maintain the social media content calendar and ensure timely content delivery.
- Organize creative assets and maintain brand templates.
- Assist with content planning, scripting, and campaign brainstorming sessions with the entire Content Team.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–4 years of professional social media experience.
- 2+ years designing static or video content for social media.
- Proficiency with third-party social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later) to schedule, publish, and manage content across multiple social media accounts.
- Strong graphic design skills using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube best practices.
- Highly organized and very creative with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
