Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Clover POS system, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and following food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service during busy weekend hours
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus for supporting overall guest satisfaction
