Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food prep tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to uphold food safety standards.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe specifications.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with excellent knife skills and slicing techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production.
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members.
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus, showcasing attention to special dietary needs and menu planning.
