We are seeking an experienced Business Attorney to join our growing firm and help serve entrepreneurs, business owners, and organizations throughout North Carolina and beyond. Our attorneys work in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to work remotely while remaining connected to a supportive and collaborative team. Because we value both flexibility and collaboration, candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of our Charlotte office.
About the Role
As a Business Attorney at Dye Culik, you'll serve as a trusted legal advisor to business owners and executives, helping clients navigate legal challenges while protecting and growing their businesses.
Your work may include:
- Business formations and organizational planning
- Corporate governance and entity management
- Contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Commercial transactions
- Business acquisitions and strategic transactions
- General outside counsel services for businesses
- Risk management and day-to-day legal counseling
- Building long-term relationships with entrepreneurs and business leaders

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an attorney who combines strong legal skills with sound judgment, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to client service.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina law license required
- South Carolina and/or Massachusetts licensure is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of business law or closely related legal experience
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, research, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent judgment, integrity, and professionalism
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Comfortable using modern legal technology and cloud-based practice management software
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Interested in developing lasting client relationships and participating in networking and business development
