Route School Bus Drivers
- Split shifts: Morning (~6AM–9AM) & Afternoon (~2PM–5PM)
- Starting pay: $20/hour
- Guaranteed 3 hours per route

CDL Training Program (Fully Paid — No Experience Needed)
Our fully paid CDL training program helps you earn your Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements at zero cost to you.
What We Cover:
- CDL permit & licensing fees
- DOT medical card
- Drug screening
- Fingerprinting & background checks
- All required certifications
What You’ll Earn During Training:
- $800 upon completion of your CDL permit
- $1,200 upon completion of your full CDL
Employment Commitment:
- 6-month employment commitment after obtaining your CDL
- If employment ends early, a portion of training costs may need to be repaid based on time worked
Program Details
Average Program Length
Most trainees complete the program in approximately 4–6 weeks from start to finish.
- 1–2 weeks average to obtain CDL permit
- 2–4 weeks average of behind-the-wheel training and ride-along's
- CDL testing scheduled upon completion of training based on testing availability
Before Permit (In-Class Training)
Trainees begin with classroom-style instruction designed to prepare them for the CDL permit process and build a strong foundation of knowledge.

- Test preparation assistance
- Step-by-step guidance from instructors
After Permit (Behind-the-Wheel Training)
Once the CDL permit is obtained, trainees move into hands-on driving instruction and real-world training experiences.

- Backing and maneuvering practice
- Real route and traffic experience
- CDL skills test preparation
- One-on-one coaching from experienced trainers

- Attendance Bonuses: $50/month, $500/year

Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Greet students and ensure their safety at all times
- Communicate with dispatch and leadership regarding incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior on every route

Qualifications
- Minimum age 24 OR eligible under state exception
- Able to obtain School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) CDL endorsements
- Pass background check, DOT physical, & drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing
- At least 5 years of licensed driving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, diverse environment
