Provides oversight for all Personnel Assistant I in the SRP. Compiles collected information into useful data that shall be provided to the SRP Site Manager for pass along to all agencies needing SRP Data. Serves as SRP Manager in absence of SRP Manager. Ensures daily clerical functions are performed in a Fort Riley military personnel management office as directed by supervisor. Ensures SRP personnel can perform as the authoritative source on the interpretation of the rules and regulations as applied to specific circumstances within the Personnel arena for all branches and components of the Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, RC/NG, and civilians). Briefs the process and importance of verifying/updating DD93, updating DD214 (as applicable) and SGLV, as well as other Personnel data. Support of the mobilization/deployment and demobilization/redeployment cycle occurring simultaneously for all branches and components of the Armed Forces. Oversees the input of information for various military forms, memorandums, and correspondence. Prepare end of day reports. Must answer telephonic, written and personal inquiries and deal with people courteously and effectively. Ensures all SRP personnel are thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to learn US Army systems concerning mobilization. In the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster, the Installation Commander may require the presence of mission essential personnel; HR personnel will conduct business accordingly upon alert.
