Job Overview
CONSTRUCTION,GLASS ,GLAZING & METAL ESTIMATOR: Growing metal & glass company looking for experienced individual to assist with estimating. The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.
Qualifications and Experienced Required:
-Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
- Strong understand of door hardware and glass specifications
-Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
-Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
- 5 Year minimum metal & glass estimating
- Experience with estimating and bidding Structural Glass Walls, Storefronts, Hardware, Metal and Skylight projects
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, BlueBeam, Procure)
- Presentable with sales skills
- Ability to write comprehensive emails
- Strong skills in blueprint reading,take-offs and compiling estimates
- Works well with others
- Ability to walk projects, take measurements and compile an estimate.
- Assist with project coordination
- Ability to review shop drawings & submittals
- Residential & commercial experience
