Job Title: Polisher

Duties:
- Polish jewelry (rings, earrings, bracelet, pendants & chains) after work has been completed by our jewelers
- Rhodium and gold plating finished jewelry
- Filling and maintaining jewelry steamers and ultrasonics
Skills:
- mechanically inclined
- basic knowledge of metals and stones is preferred but not necessary
A steady hand is very helpful, but a strong commitment and a desire to learn is really important. Any knowledge of jewelry/metals/stones is helpful.
At this position you will apply the finishing touches to jewelry made and repaired by experienced jewelers. You will learn about metals, stones, and different styles of jewelry, and you will gain a deep knowledge and understanding of a centuries old art.
This would be a good job for someone who has worked in construction trades, auto mechanics, electronics, or ideally someone with previous experience in the jewelry business.
Compensation at trainee level is $15/hr with time and half for overtime, or more based on your experience.
