We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will help provide nutritious, high-quality meals and exceptional service to our residents while creating a welcoming dining experience. Your work will directly contribute to the health, comfort, and well-being of those we serve. Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train individuals who share our commitment to caring for others and making a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal service to support the dietary department's daily operations.
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous, respectful, and timely manner.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Support dining room service, including setting up, bussing tables, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
- Follow established procedures for food safety, infection control, and workplace safety.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service while treating residents, families, and coworkers with dignity and respect.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, dietary services, healthcare, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- A genuine desire to serve others and make a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
