Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This role is critical in improving clients' social, communication, and daily living skills, ensuring they can lead fulfilling and independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one behavior therapy services to individuals in various settings (home, school, clinic, community).
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA.
- Collect and record data on clients' progress toward goals.
- Support individuals in developing social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Follow ethical and professional standards outlined by the BACB.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and caregivers.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification (preferred).
- Must pass a 10 year background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment in degree program) in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations, if necessary.
