Overview:
Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates clinical care that is safe, best outcome practice with all Core Measures compliant.

Demonstrates compliance with all HCAHPS behaviors to allow patients and families to have an excellent hospital experience.

Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.

Attends daily huddles, general staff meetings, signs monthly unit based newsletter, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.

Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.

Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.

Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

Education:
- Diploma/Associates Degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Should attend hospital training programs including: New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
