Gillmann Services is hiring experienced Concrete Form Setters / Rebar Installers to join our growing team. This position involves commercial concrete construction, including forming walls, tying rebar, and assisting with concrete pours. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in producing quality work while maintaining a safe job site.
Job length: 1 month
Job Pay: $20-$22 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Set and build concrete wall forms.
- Tie and install reinforcing steel (rebar) according to plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
- Install embeds, anchor bolts, and other hardware.
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
- Strip and clean forms after pours.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience setting concrete forms and tying rebar.
- Ability to read a tape measure and construction drawings.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- OSHA certification is a plus but not required.
