Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Summary
ServiceMaster Recovery by Restoration is seeking a motivated and organized Contents Supervisor to lead our Contents Division. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the contents team, ensuring customers' personal belongings are handled with care throughout the restoration process following fire, water, mold, or storm damage.
The Contents Supervisor is responsible for supervising technicians, coordinating projects, maintaining accurate inventories, ensuring quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service during some of our customers' most challenging times.

- Supervise, coach, and support the daily activities of the Contents Technicians.
- Schedule and assign daily work orders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
- Oversee the packing, inventory, cleaning, storage, transportation, and return of customers' personal belongings.
- Ensure all contents are properly documented, labeled, photographed, and inventoried using company procedures.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure all work meets ServiceMaster standards.
- Train new employees on contents cleaning procedures, inventory management, packing techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular performance coaching and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, inventory logs, photographs, and customer records.
- Communicate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations Managers to coordinate project timelines and customer expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their personal belongings throughout the restoration process.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and provide regular project updates.
- Coordinate the transportation of contents between customer properties, warehouses, and storage facilities.
- Ensure proper handling of high-value, fragile, and sentimental items.
- Oversee warehouse organization and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure chain-of-custody procedures are followed.
- Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and cleaning tools are properly maintained and report any maintenance needs.
- Manage department supplies and assist with inventory ordering and stock control.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in restoration, moving, warehousing, logistics, cleaning services, or a related industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications.
- Comfortable learning and using restoration software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work in warehouse and field environments.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in contents restoration, fire and water restoration, or disaster recovery.
- Experience supervising a contents department or warehouse team.
- Experience with inventory management systems, barcode scanning, or restoration software (Encircle, DASH, Luxor, NextGear, Xactimate, or similar).
- IICRC certifications or willingness to obtain certification after hire.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Experience managing customer claims, inventories, or logistics operations.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work in residential homes, commercial properties, warehouses, and storage facilities.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to work in environments affected by fire, smoke, water, mold, and other property damage.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
