Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical information
- Giving injections and medication, treating wounds, and performing diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Follow hospital policies and procedures for patient safety and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs
- Delivery of immunizations
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to pediatric care
- Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
