- Supervises and directs patient care in the operating room unit.

Performs scrub duties as necessary.

Performs all circulating duties with efficiency, speed accuracy and safety.

Provides continuity of patient care.

Assists in control and maintenance of drugs, supplies and equipment

Demonstrates knowledge of Department Policies and Procedures.

Assist in administrative duties as directed.

Assist in supervision of personnel and department to provide optimum assurance of safe environment, as well as staff development and education as applicable.

Demonstrates problem-solving ability.

Takes call for emergencies, holidays, weekends and is available for additional duty as necessary.

Maintains patient confidentiality.

Current Illinois State R.N. Licensure.
Preferred 2 years of Operating Room experience.
CPR or ACLS certified.
Ability to perform effectively and harmoniously as a member of the operative team.
PHYSICAL DEMAND REQUIREMENTS
Exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 lbs. of force frequently.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Provides total peri-operative nursing care to patients who are members of the immediate community ages one week through their life span, utilizing the nursing process.
