Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA/QC Technician to join our quality assurance team. This position is responsible for ensuring that all outside plant work- including fiber, copper, conduit , and related infrastructure meets company standards, project specifications and industry best practices. All documentation to be implemented using Origami App.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify field installations for compliance with design and safety standards
- Document and report deficiencies or deviations from scope
- Perform testing and verification of fiber and copper cabling
- Ensure all work meets RCT quality and safety requirements
- Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to resolve field issues
- Maintain accurate QC records and daily reports
- Participate in quality audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
- Document findings and prepare reports on quality inspection results for review by management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance in outside plant or telecommunications field work
- Strong understanding of OSP construction practices and materials
- Experience with fiber testing and documentation (OTDR< power meter, etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for effective problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and impeccable driving record
