We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service & Delivery Technician specializing in hot tubs and swim spas to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining, and repairing high-quality aquatic leisure equipment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, for timely delivery and pickup of hot tubs and swim spas.
- Install new equipment according to schematics, technical manuals, and safety standards, ensuring proper plumbing, electrical connections, and mechanical assembly.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment; identify problems related to refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, or mechanical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of installed units.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers during delivery and service appointments; provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair, equipment troubleshooting, or field service roles involving hot tubs or similar appliances.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and refrigeration principles.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow technical instructions precisely.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks; clean driving record preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; capable of explaining technical details clearly to clients.
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), appliance installation, or delivery driver roles is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment safely; comfortable working at heights using ladders when needed.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing connections, refrigeration components or HVAC systems is a plus.
