Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed apparel using screen printing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain screen printing machines.
- Review production documents and design specifications accurately to produce consistent prints.
- Manage color matching and color management processes to achieve precise hues.
- Prepare screens, inks, and clean screens.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct issues promptly.
- Adjust equipment settings and perform routine maintenance to maximize machine efficiency.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to review artwork files for printing.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems or technical issues related to press operation or digital printing devices.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working with manufacturing equipment and chemicals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of operating screen printing equipment.
- Ability to adjust industrial equipment accurately.
- Knowledge of color management, layout design, typography, and print quality control processes.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Effective and respectful communication skills to collaborate with team members across different departments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in temperatures that exceed 70 degrees.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
