Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Older Twos/Younger Threes Teacher to inspire and nurture young children during a critical stage of their early development. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that integrates creative arts, movement, music, and play-based learning tailored for children aged two to three years old
- Manage classroom behavior effectively by establishing clear routines and positive reinforcement strategies to promote a respectful and safe learning environment
- Incorporate visual and performing arts activities such as dance instruction, choreography, theater exercises, photography projects, sewing crafts, and musical instrument exploration to enhance creative development
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through intentional teaching practices and individualized attention
- Facilitate activities that promote physical development including ballet, dancing, and other movement-based exercises
- Use classroom management techniques to ensure smooth daily operations and foster an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates diversity
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special projects, and youth programs focused on arts education and childhood development
Experience
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in educational or youth program settings is essential
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners
- Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while nurturing individual student needs
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for preschool education
