Bright Oak Home Services is hiring full and part-time house cleaners in the Durham area (we currently service Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Garner, Knightdale, Clayton, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and other nearby cities).
We are hiring individual cleaners as well as small teams too!
Unlike many other competitors, we are not a franchise and we offer much higher pay. Many of our cleaners make more than $1,000/week, including tips and bonuses. We are also the most flexible company in the area — we allow you to set your own schedule and work only when and where you want to work.
When you work for us at Bright Oak Home Services, you set your schedule. Only want to work 3 days per week? Perfect! Want to work every day and get full-time hours? Also perfect! We will work with you to make sure you're happy and able to make great money on your own time.
As you consistently deliver great work, clients will start requesting you by name on a recurring basis. Most of our top cleaners build a steady book of repeat clients they already know — which means fewer surprises, faster jobs, and higher tips.
Bright Oak Home Services does NOT provide supplies or insurance; however, we handle all advertising, scheduling, estimates, customer service, and billing, and let you focus on just your work. This is a 1099 contractor role where you'll be expected to work independently.
We're looking for A-level cleaners to join our team. We want the best of the best, with a clear focus on detail. To be a part of our team, you MUST consistently show up on time, communicate well, and be exceedingly respectful to our customers.
Already have your own clients? That's fine! We will help you get even more and send you all of the work that you desire.
Have another person that you currently clean with? That's fine, too! We will schedule you for jobs together.
Start date: ASAP (Interview and background screening take between 7-10 days)
Duties:
- Routine, deep, and move-in/move-out cleanings for residential homes
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting
- Vacuuming, cleaning glass, wiping down surfaces, etc.
- Ability to manage time effectively and independently
Qualifications:
- 2 years of paid house cleaning experience is required
- Must speak English (conversational okay)
- Have your own transportation and cleaning supplies
- Must have or be willing to get General Liability Insurance (very quick process; roughly $40/month)

Responsabilidades:
- Limpiezas residenciales de rutina, profundas y de mudanza (entrada/salida)
- Barrer, trapear y quitar el polvo
- Aspirar, limpiar vidrios, desinfectar superficies, etc.
- Capacidad para administrar el tiempo de manera efectiva e independiente
Requisitos:
- Mínimo 2 años de experiencia pagada en limpieza de casas
- Debe hablar inglés (nivel conversacional es suficiente)
- Tener su propio transporte y suministros de limpieza
- Contar con cobertura de responsabilidad civil como contratista independiente, o estar dispuesto(a) a tramitarla antes del primer trabajo (te explicamos los detalles en la entrevista)
