Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces through hands-on landscaping, gardening, and lawn care activities. Your expertise in lawn maintenance, organization, and the use of power and hand tools will ensure that our landscapes remain healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to uphold high standards of appearance
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, digging, edging, and other landscaping activities
- Conduct gardening duties such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining flower beds
- Apply horticultural practices to promote healthy growth of lawns and plants
- Assist with landscape design projects by preparing soil, laying mulch, or installing new features
- Monitor landscape health regularly and perform routine maintenance to prevent pests or disease issues
Skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Experience with lawn care.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely
- Solid understanding of gardening best practices
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep
