Core Duties

Compensation ranging from $24.53 to $28.90 per hour, with weekly pay, overtime eligibility after 40 hours, and no weekend work.

Standard weekday shifts starting at 6:00 AM, typically lasting around 8 hours.

Drive a Class B straight truck to deliver various metal goods to local customers.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by successfully completing 12 to 15 delivery stops each day.

Utilize straps and the provided bow system to secure and manage freight tarping requirements.

Help maintain operational safety and legal standards by conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.

Support efficient delivery operations by safely climbing on and off the vehicle to manage cargo.

Transition into a permanent role with a stable, local schedule that gets you home every night.
Qualifications

Possession of a current Class B CDL is mandatory.

At least 2 years of documented professional driving history.

Must meet the minimum age requirement of 23 years.

Prior experience operating flatbed trailers is necessary.

Proven proficiency in operating manual transmissions is required.

Demonstrate the ability to properly secure and cover loads to ensure safe transport.

Physical capability to frequently enter and exit the truck throughout the workday.

Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screening, background investigation, and driving record check.
