General Statement of Job:
Provides friendly and efficient customer service while supporting the daily operations of the golf course pro shop. Assists golfers and visitors with purchases, reservations, and general information, while performing clerical and administrative tasks to help keep the pro shop organized and running smoothly. Works collaboratively with staff and interacts regularly with the public to ensure a positive experience for all guests. Work is performed under regular supervision.
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality, preferably in a golf course, recreational, or sports environment.

Familiarity with golf terminology, equipment, and course operations to assist guests effectively.

Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation software, and basic office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).

Experience in organizing and maintaining merchandise displays or inventory in a retail setting.

Essential Employee Designation
When normal operations of City departments are suspended or interrupted due to a declaration that a state of emergency exists, any employee may be deemed essential by the City.
