Job Description
Crestline Software is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to serve as a technical anchor on one of our core platform teams. You will drive architectural decisions, lead complex feature development, and elevate the capabilities of the engineers around you through mentorship and hands-on collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical design and architecture for major platform initiatives
- Build distributed backend systems handling millions of daily transactions
- Define engineering standards for code quality, testing, and deployment practices
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams
- Proactively identify and resolve technical debt and system bottlenecks

Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend depth
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Go, or Python for distributed systems
- Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices at scale
- Strong understanding of system design principles, CAP theorem, and data consistency models
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams
