American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position on the Family Birth Place unit, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and working night shifts on a 13-week contract in Ogden, UT.

Family Birth Place unit within a hospital setting, encompassing Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care
-
Unit includes 25 LDRP rooms and 4 triage rooms
-
Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
-
13-week contract
-
Patient ratios: Labor 1:1–2; Postpartum 3–4 couplets
-
Night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 4–5 labor nurses, 2–3 postpartum nurses, 1 ward clerk, 1 CNA, and 1 OB Tech
-
Procedures include inductions, vaginal deliveries, C-sections with or without tubals, speculum exams, and triage
-
EMR systems: CPN and Meditech

No floating required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Active UT or Compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, AAP card), and S.T.A.B.L.E.

AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced fetal monitoring certification, or NCC-EFM, required for this L&D position

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery clinical experience required

All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

Preferred skills include postpartum care, lactation/breastfeeding assistance, OR circulating for C-sections, triage, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification, and RNC-EFM

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Ideal candidates are flexible, adaptable, team-oriented, and bring a positive attitude

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
