Parts Counter / Inside Sales Associate Job Description
Lock Stock & Barrel, a Power Equipment, Feed and Farm supply store located in Bethany CT, is looking to add to our growing team. We are a fast-growing leader in the outdoor power equipment and agricultural industries. We service local and state municipalities, contractors, and residential customers.

Responsibilities:
Assist all customers and technicians by securing all part needs while offering a high level of customer service.
Essential Duties:
Assists all customers in selecting the desired parts in a friendly, professional, timely manner.
Manage incoming and outgoing phone traffic.
Assist sales staff with technical, inventory, and pricing information.
Identify and record lost sales opportunities to ensure current inventory, is meeting sales demands.
Consistently follow up on outstanding back orders and aging inventory.
Process payments from customers or obtain credit authorization.
Coordinate with delivery drivers for daily pickups and delivery of equipment and parts.
Other Duties:
Review shop estimates to be sure the parts are correctly ordered, and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
Pull and fill orders from inventory for counter and shop sales.
Restocking incorrect or returned parts including shipping back to vendors or distributors
Notify management and team members of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Source, shop, and order emergency non-stock items from local vendors.
Communicate order status of special-order items with customers and our service department.
Pull parts orders for the shop making sure parts are correct and placed in correct customer job bin and are tagged with proper job name or repair order number.
Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on a repair order.
Ensure that the customer signs all charge sales and that every customer receives their copy of the invoice.
Keeps orderly records of all active orders with up-to-date status.
Keep the showroom fully stocked, clean and orderly.
Cleans counter area, computer terminals, and copiers daily to maintain an efficient and clean work environment.
Maintain a current level of training from all related vendors and available sources.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
