The Mail and Receiving Associate must be highly motivated, customer focused and capable of demonstrating a variety of tasks related to the legal environment. The manager provides a high level of expertise and oversight while maximizing productivity.
Must have a valid driver's license. Position operates company vehicle.
Responsibilities include oversight and management in, but not limited to:
- Receives and scans all inbound packages
- Ensures all incoming packages are in good condition
- Verifies bill of lading matches with received items
- Sorts packages according to building or specific delivery route
- Delivers packages throughout the facility and receives signatures
- Handles customer service inquiries regarding inbound packages
- Processes outgoing packages
- May package outbound material using proper secure packing techniques
- Monitors shipping supply inventory and orders supplies based on established par levels
- Maintains package tracking software system and contacts provider to resolve software issues
- Coordinates delivery trucks in and out of delivery bays
- Secures loading dock by locking down bay doors when not in use
- Delivers paper to convenience and printer areas
- Coordinates with shredding company to empty all shred bins throughout facility
