About the Role
We are a growing electrical contractor seeking an experienced Residential & Commercial Service & Sales Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who excels at both technical service work and customer-facing sales. The successful candidate will diagnose electrical issues, provide solutions, present service options, and confidently close sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
In addition to service work, team members may be asked to assist with various miscellaneous tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Respond to commercial service calls and complete repairs, maintenance, and small project work.
- Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Present service and upgrade options to customers and explain the value of our services.
- Generate and close sales opportunities during residential and commercial service calls.
- Build trust with customers and provide professional recommendations based on their needs.
- Meet or exceed individual sales and revenue goals.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks and duties as needed to support company operations.
- Uphold company standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of electrical trade experience required.
- Proven experience handling residential electrical service calls independently.
- Experience performing commercial electrical service and troubleshooting.
- Previous service sales experience preferred.
- Ability to identify opportunities and confidently recommend solutions that benefit the customer.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
