Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a future licensed Health Care Service Firm (HCSF) in New Jersey. The RN will provide clinical oversight, client assessments, and supervision of Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to ensure safe, high-quality care in clients’ homes.
This position plays an essential role in maintaining compliance with New Jersey regulations while supporting caregivers and promoting positive outcomes for clients receiving home care services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and periodic client assessments in the home
- Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs)
- Perform supervisory visits in accordance with New Jersey HCSF requirements
- Provide training and guidance to caregivers regarding client care needs
- Monitor documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership
- Participate in quality assurance and incident reporting when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of visits and assessments
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 year of nursing experience (home care experience preferred)
- Knowledge of New Jersey Home Care Services Firm regulations
- Ability to travel to client homes within assigned service area
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Current CPR certification
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey RN License in good standing
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background screening as required by state regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
