Treasure Hunt Early Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Assistant Director and Lead Preschool Teacher who believes learning should be engaging, hands-on, and fun. If you enjoy helping young children build confidence while preparing for kindergarten, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Observe and document children's progress.
- Communicate regularly with families.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with Minnesota licensing regulations.
- Promote positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance.
Qualifications
- Meets Minnesota Lead Teacher qualifications.
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background study clearance required.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shift

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
