About the Role:
As our RN DON Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide exceptional patient care
Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Conducting assessments of patient care needs and developing individualized care plans to meet those needs
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
Fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes staff satisfaction and retention
Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
Serving as a resource and mentor to staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
RN DON Director of Nursing Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing, in a long-term care setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
