The ideal candidate brings expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist holding current California credentials and has experience delivering dynamic therapy in elementary school settings. Collaborating within a nurturing educational environment, you’ll foster students’ confidence and success through individualized intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required) in California
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge in facilitating therapy for students presenting mild to moderate communication challenges
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create tailored treatment plans and work collaboratively with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, develop intervention strategies, and deliver services to meet students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing communication with educational staff and parents regarding progress and strategies
- Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
