Location: Columbia, Missouri
Pay Rate: $ 1,600 To $ 1,800/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 6:30 PM 7:00 AM | 3 Shifts per Week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Columbia, Missouri. This role provides respiratory care across ICU, NICU, Emergency Department, and inpatient units while supporting patients from neonatal through geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care and mechanical ventilation experience.
Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring respiratory therapy services.
Manage mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy.
Administer respiratory medications and perform arterial punctures as indicated.
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment while following clinical and safety standards.
Requirements
Active Respiratory Therapist license required.
Current BLS/BCLS Certification required.
RRT or CRT Certification accepted.
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required with mechanical ventilation and critical care experience.
NICU experience preferred; NRP required for candidates with NICU experience.
