Schedule: Monday-Friday, afternoon/evening shift
Position Summary
Hansen Commercial Services is seeking a dependable, organized, and people-focused On-Site Supervisor to support our employees assigned to a local production plant client.
This individual will serve as Hansen’s primary on-site representative and will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and support of Hansen employees working at the facility.
We are looking for someone who can help us build a strong team, maintain accountability, communicate effectively, and support the workforce as the operation grows.
This is a hands-on, floor-level leadership position, not a desk-only supervisory role.
Work Schedule
Candidates must have flexibility to work an afternoon/evening schedule. The anticipated schedule will transition as the operation ramps up:
- Training weeks: approximately 6:00 AM–6:30 PM (12 Hours)
- Ramp-up schedule: approximately 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Transition schedule: approximately 2:30 PM–11:30 PM
- Expected long-term schedule: approximately 4:30 PM–1:00 AM
Candidates should only apply if they can consistently accommodate the later evening schedule as the account transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Hansen’s primary on-site representative for assigned employees
- Maintain daily visibility and communication with the Hansen workforce
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, call-outs, no-shows, and early departures
- Maintain accurate daily staffing/headcount records
- Review employee clock-ins and clock-outs and identify timekeeping discrepancies
- Communicate staffing shortages and replacement needs to Hansen management
- Support the onboarding and introduction of newly assigned Hansen employees
- Reinforce Hansen attendance, conduct, uniform, and workplace expectations
- Reinforce required PPE and general workplace safety expectations
- Monitor employee performance and address routine workforce concerns
- Document attendance, conduct, and performance issues
- Escalate corrective-action and employee-relations matters to Hansen management
- Immediately report workplace injuries, incidents, near misses, or safety concerns
- Maintain professional communication with designated client representatives
- Communicate client staffing requests or workforce concerns to Hansen management
- Coordinate approved schedule and overtime needs
- Complete a brief daily supervisor report covering staffing, attendance, safety, employee issues, and client requests
- Help create a reliable, professional, and accountable workforce
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory, team lead, staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, or workforce-management experience preferred
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability
- Comfortable leading approximately 30+ employees
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining professional relationships
- Strong organizational and basic documentation skills
- Comfortable using mobile and computer-based timekeeping and communication systems
- Ability to communicate professionally with both employees and client management
- Safety-conscious and comfortable reinforcing workplace expectations
- Reliable transportation
- Must be consistently available for afternoon/evening shifts
- Bilingual English/Korean is a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
