Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Technician

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour, with the potential to increase up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
Job Summary
McCormick Ranch Property Owners’ Association is seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining common areas, turf, landscaping, irrigation, and general outdoor property maintenance throughout the Association.
The ideal candidate will have previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform turf, garden, and landscape maintenance
- Assist with irrigation repairs and maintenance
- Participate in softscape and hardscape projects
- Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and in accordance with OSHA procedures
- Assist with plant placement, removal, trimming, and cleanup
- Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance experience
- Knowledge of basic landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques
- Experience with irrigation systems preferred, but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular physical outdoor work, including:
- Walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, balancing, lifting, and handling materials
- Frequent lifting and moving of supplies up to 40 pounds
- Occasional lifting of 75 pounds or more
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Using arms, legs, and full-body movement throughout the workday
