We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in commercial roofing and construction management.
You will work directly with ownership and senior leadership to learn estimating, project management, and field coordination. The goal of this position is to develop into a fully capable Project Manager responsible for running projects from bid through closeout.
This role also includes supporting basic safety coordination efforts to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment across all projects.
Project Management
* Assist in managing awarded projects from start to finish
* Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment
* Communicate with clients, vendors and field crews
* Track project budgets, costs, and progress
* Support scheduling and job planning
Estimating & Pre-Construction
* Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Metal coatings, Standing Seam Metal Roofing, etc.)
* Perform quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications and site visits
* Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
* Assist in building proposals and bid documents
* Maintain organized estimate files and pricing data
Field and Operations Exposure
* Spend time in the field learning installation methods and jobsite operations
* Conduct site visits, measurements, and inspections
* Support quality control and company standards
Safety Coordination Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining company safety programs and OSHA compliance
* Help ensure job sites follow company safety standards and protocols
* Coordinate and document safety meetings and toolbox talks
* Maintain safety documentation (incident reports, training logs, etc.)
* Support jobsite safety inspections and audits
* Assist in onboarding new employees with basic safety training
* Promote a culture of safety across all projects.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
