American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an oncology-focused hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Mixed acuity unit serving both PCU and Med/Surg patients in a hospital oncology setting

Patient ratio of 1:5

Night shifts (7p–7:30a), 3x12-hour shifts per week

Schedule rotates between days and nights based on department needs, reviewed every 4-week scheduling period

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Epic EMR experience required

Key clinical skills include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Current BLS certification required

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Competency in IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management required

Oncology experience preferred but not required

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Orientation consists of the first week Mon–Fri on day shift, followed by a second week of 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor

Self-scheduling requests are submitted by the traveler prior to the schedule being finalized

No 30-day break is required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
