Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Customer Greeter/Service Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a vital role in welcoming our customers coming in for service or parts as well as maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Welcoming customers with a smile as they arrive in the service, show them to a service advisor to start the write up process.
- Perform routine cleaning of designated areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Remove trash and recyclables from all areas of the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and responding to inquiries.
- Taking care of Service clients, Cleaning Customer and Rental vehicles, Taking trash out & helping service do any tasks necessary.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is preferred but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, as well as being comfortable driving large SUVs and trucks.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
