Phlebotomist
Location: Albany, Oregon
Pay Rate: $33/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Evening Shift, 3:30 PM 12:00 AM; occasional weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
About the Role
We are seeking a Phlebotomist for a 13-week evening-shift contract opportunity in Albany, Oregon. This role supports hospital, emergency room, outpatient, and clinic laboratory testing by collecting and processing patient specimens accurately and safely.
Responsibilities
Perform blood specimen collection for inpatient, emergency room, outpatient, and clinic patients
Label, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory standards
Support accurate testing for blood, body fluids, tissue, and other clinical samples
Document phlebotomy services accurately using EPIC
Follow CLIA, CAP, safety, infection control, and laboratory department procedures
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Approved Phlebotomy Training Program completion or 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience required
Phlebotomist Certification Preferred
Must be available for evening shift, occasional weekends, and holiday coverage
