Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and presentation quality.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the guest experience and support bar management initiatives.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while ensuring timely service delivery during busy evening hours.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality industry practices, including responsible alcohol service and food safety compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with cash handling expertise.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic approach.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality settings that emphasize quality service.
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development and crafting innovative drinks to delight guests.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and cash transactions.
