WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, remove, repair & install jaw & gyratory crushers, vibratory screens, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems & mobile conveying systems
- Perform mechanical & lubrication preventive maintenance including filters, screens, oil levels & lubrication systems
- Diagnose equipment issues, prioritize repairs & make critical maintenance decisions
- Maintain work orders & complete work area inspections
- Perform advanced welding & fabrication
- Train & mentor other employees
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, cranes & boom trucks as needed
- Serve as a Fill-in Supervisor when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of Crush/Convey mechanical maintenance experience OR a combination of education & industrial mechanical repair/maintenance experience
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, ARC & oxy-acetylene welding/cutting
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, machine shop operations, blueprints, schematics, fabrication, part lists & equipment repair
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic & repair skills
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to successfully complete required written assessments, competencies & safety requirements
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
THE WORK
This is a hands-on mining/manufacturing environment where safety comes first. You'll work around heavy mechanical equipment, moving parts, elevated platforms, temperature & humidity extremes, airborne particles, fumes & other industrial hazards.
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation
- Ability to stand, sit, climb stairs/ladders & work from elevated platforms
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand & communicate work assignments, procedures & safety requirements in English
- Required to use appropriate PPE including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear & other protective equipment as required
